With a background in National and International artistic gymnastics, Deb knew from the age of 9 that Physiotherapy was her career path. After graduating as a U.K. Physiotherapist in 1996, Deb worked within the National Health Service and the Private sector in the U.K. After several years of practice, she became a senior clinician with a small team of junior Physiotherapists to manage, appraise and teach.
Deb took a career break to raise the 5 boys she had with Jim and in 2008 relocated the family to Dunedin. Since arriving in New Zealand, Deb has run her own accommodation business, worked as a massage therapist and manages a local high school rugby team. In addition to this she has undertaken Post Graduate Physiotherapy study at the University of Otago and is in the process of applying to register as a Physiotherapist in New Zealand.
